A rose lays dead in fields that yield water and light. The faint and the mighty unable to retain its color or save its beauty from itself and their oversight. You see, this rose came to life with a purpose, with a meaning and with a love that called to the air. But when the air brought what the rose needed most, pedals prohibited the rose from seeing the light. The faint never knew the air could be so forthcoming, and saw not what the rose had done. The mighty saw strength within the rose, and knew not of its plight. Now the rose lay dead at their feet, victim to their eyes and minds and slaughtered at the alter of his own self destruction. All you needed was to let yourself grow, and the others around you. Now you lay wasted away to be removed from this time to the next.
